Members of the Macau Community Development Initiative (MCDI) yesterday handed in a petition urging the government to submit all of its large-scale projects to the Legislative Assembly for plenary debate.

Grassroots lawmaker Au Kam San, the group’s vice-president, spoke to reporters about the demand outside Government Headquarters after handing the petition, addressed to Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On, to an official.

Au is a former member of the New Macau Association (NMA).
