Sulu Sou Ka Hou, vice chairman of the non-establishment New Macau Association (NMA), said yesterday that chief executive candidate Ho Iat Seng wouldn’t rule out the possibility that the chief executive be elected by universal suffrage.
However, according to Sou, Ho stressed that universal suffrage would need to be implemented “step by step”.
Sou made the remarks after he and other members of the association met Ho at his campaign office behind closed doors on the 6th floor of Rodrigues Commercial Building in Avenida da Praia Grande.
