Chief executive candidate Ho Iat Seng told reporters yesterday that he would continue to visit residents if he’s elected chief executive, adding that, however, he might not be able to invite the media every time in the future in order to reduce the impact on residents.

Ho made the comments after visiting the Lok Yeong Elderly Daycare Centre in Fai Chi Kei, where he visited senior citizens and chatted with them. The senior citizens in the centre sang to welcome Ho.

Before Ho visited the centre, he toured the Patane Market Municipal Complex in the Inner Harbour area, where vendors told him that the size of their stalls is too small, and also informed about the current shortage of pork.
