The Health Bureau (SSM) said in a statement yesterday that it has confirmed this year’s 14th imported case of dengue fever.
According to the statement, the patient, a 43-year-old local man, lives in the Concórdia Reclamation Zone next to Estrada de Seac Pai Van in Coloane. The man, who works in the investment sector, shuttles between Macau and Hong Kong for work every day.
The Concórdia Reclamation Zone covers the Concórdia Industrial Park and the area where the luxury residential estate One Oasis and THE 13 Hotel are situated.
The man visited Thailand from August 17 to 22, the statement said.
