2 mainlanders rob Vietnamese flatmate of 45,000 patacas : police

The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a man on Sunday for robbing 45,000 patacas in cash from a Vietnamese woman in a shared residential flat, PJ spokesman Leng Kam Lun said during a special press conference yesterday.

According to Leng, the two male suspects are from the mainland. The personal information of the first suspect who was still at large at the time of yesterday’s press conference was not released. The second suspect surnamed Wu is 31 years old. He told the police that he is unemployed.

The victim is a Vietnamese national who works as a non-resident worker. Her personal information was not released.
