The Public Security Police (PSP) nabbed a male tourist from the mainland on Monday morning at the local airport for carrying an electric prod in his hand luggage, PSP spokesman Choi Iok Kin said during a regular press conference yesterday.

According to Choi, the suspect surnamed Weng in his forties, who told the police that he’s a “company employee”. Choi added that he didn’t know what kind of job Weng has.

Choi said that Weng was set to depart from the local airport for Tokyo at about 7:20 a.m. on Monday. When he was going through the airport’s security check, a security staff member discovered an electric prod in his hand luggage. The airport security called the Public Security Police (PSP).

This undated handout photo provided by the Public Security Police (PSP) yesterday shows the electric prod seized from the suspect on Monday at the local airport in Taipa.
