A scooter skidded when travelling on the Macau-Taipa Friendship Bridge yesterday morning, causing a fracture to male rider’s right arm, the Fire Services Bureau (CB) said.
The rider was on his way from the peninsula to Taipa when the accident, which did not involve any other vehicles, happened.
After the bureau received a report about the accident at around 8 a.m., firemen and paramedics rushed to the scene, where they found the 29-year-old rider, who told them that he lost control of the scooter and then skidded. The rider was taken to the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre for emergency treatment, the bureau said.
