The Health Bureau (SSM) has drafted a bill on the minimum age for buying alcoholic drinks in Macau and the alcoholic content which would define the drinks as alcoholic beverages, Lam Chong, head of the bureau’s Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, said during a phone-in programme hosted by the Chinese-language radio station of government broadcaster TDM yesterday.
Lam made the remarks while speaking to reporters at Ou Mun Tin Toi (TDM’s Chinese-language radio station) after attending the programme.
According to Lam, his bureau has already completed the initial consultation documents.
