The police took a tourist from the local airport to a police station for questioning on Tuesday as the man was discovered to have a bullet in his clutch bag, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Lam Keong said during a regular press conference yesterday.
Lam said the 32-year-old suspect is surnamed Chen, who told the police that he is a businessman from the mainland.
According to Lam, the incident was reported by the airport’s security guards at about 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
