A mainlander allegedly hacked a compatriot yesterday with a cleaver after an argument, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokeswoman Lei Hon Nei said during a special press conference yesterday.
According to Lei, the 47-year-old suspect surnamed Ding told the police that he works as a hawker on the mainland. The victim is also in his forties and both are from Heilongjiang province, Lei said.
No further details were given about the victim.
