Baidu chief gives lecture on autonomous driving at UM

The president of Beijing-based internet giant Baidu, Zhang Yaqin, delivered a lecture on “Advances in Autonomous Driving” on the University of Macau (UM) campus yesterday afternoon.

According to a UM statement, Zhang talked about the opportunities and challenges brought about by autonomous driving from technological, industrial and policy perspectives.

Zhang also shared his views on some of the controversial and key issues in the advances in autonomous driving technology, the statement said.
