BEIJING – Trade between the Chinese mainland and Macau expanded 5.5 percent to reach 19.4 billion yuan in the first 11 months of this year, official data showed yesterday.
Macau’s accumulated actual investment on the mainland totaled US$17.14 billion by November, while the Chinese mainland’s total non-financial direct investment in Macau stood at US$2.68 billion, Gao Feng, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said yesterday.
The mainland has lifted all tariffs on goods of Macau origin and expanded opening-up of tourism, finance and other fields to Macau, Gao said. – Xinhua
