BEIJING – A photo album has been published by China Pictorial Publishing House (CPPH) to display the Macau Special Administrative Region’s (MSAR) achievements since its return to the motherland in 1999.
The album, titled “Blooming Lotus Flower: 20th Anniversary of Macau’s Return,” was jointly compiled by the CPPH, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the MSAR and the Macau Government Information Bureau (GCS).
Edited in both Chinese and English, the album uses historical photos to showcase the successful practice of “One Country, Two Systems” with Macau characteristics, highlighting the region’s economic growth, improvement of people’s livelihood and social stability. – Xinhua
