All pension payments and allowances paid out by the Social Security Fund (FSS) have been increased from today, according to a statement by the government-run fund yesterday.
According to Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng’s Order No. 212/2019 which was published in the Official Gazette (BO) yesterday, the increase in allowances and pensions takes effect on New Year’s Day.
The old-age pensions and disability pensions have both been increased to 3,740 patacas per month, with both having been increased by 3.03 percent compared to the 3,630 patacas per month that the beneficiaries of both pensions received last year.
