Govt accuses US Congress of ‘selective blindness’

The Macau government yesterday accused an annual US Congress report about Macau of intentional “selective blindness.”

The 2019 report by the US lawmakers on the situation in China was released in Washington on Wednesday.

According to a statement released by the local government last night, the US report contains “unfounded accusations” and “grossly interferes in the affairs of Macau which are an internal matter of the People’s Republic of China.”
