Xue Xiaofeng, one of the four deputy directors of the Central People’s Government Liaison Office in Macau, has been appointed as a vice-chairman of the 12th Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Xinhua reported last week.
Xue had served as a deputy director of the office since September 2016, after serving as the Communist Party of China (CPC) secretary of the Zhongshan Municipal Committee for five years.
His successor has still to be announced.
