Local short film “Singing Man” shows how a singer uses an autistic musician to gain sympathy and popularity, and after spending time together the singer learns to respect his autistic friend and develops a ‘bromance’ as they reach for the stars.

A ‘bromance’ is a close, emotionally intense but non-sexual bond between two men.

The film is a Fuhong Society of Macau project to give people a better understanding of autistic people and also shows the public a more positive way to embrace people with autism. Fuhong provides vocational rehabilitation services for adults with mild or moderate mental health problems.
