The Macau government announced this afternoon that the national and local flags will fly at half mast in the special administrative region tomorrow to mourn the nation's COVID-19 victims.
In compliance with a State Council notice, people in Macau are expected to observe a three-minute silence from 10 a.m. tomorrow to express their condolences to the victims' bereaved families.
The State Council also called for the suspension of all celebratory and recreational activities tomorrow.

As of this afternoon, the mainland had 81,620 confirmed cases with 3,322 deaths, Hong Kong had 845 cases with four deaths, Taiwan had 348 cases with five deaths, and Macau had 42 cases with no fatalities.
