The Macau Aerial Photography Association (MAPA) is holding its first exhibition, entitled “Member Photography 2020”, at 10 Fantasia gallery in São Lázaro district. The exhibition is sponsored by the public Macau Foundation (FM) in conjunction with two groups, Amazing Creation & Collection and Macau Creatives, according to information provided by MAPA.
“Mapa” in Portuguese for “map”.
According to the association, the exhibition aims to showcase the work of its senior members, promote the development of aerial photography art and technology, and create an aerial photography communication platform for enthusiasts to share and exchange local culture, knowledge, regulations, and creativity.
The exhibition also aims to set up an opportunity for the public to admire high-quality photography of Macau’s beautiful scenery from different angles and to provide inspiration to photographers to enrich their creative ideas. Some of the photos also show scenes in Lisbon. The exhibition also includes a video installation.
The event runs until May 15 at 10 Fantasia daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed on Mondays) at 10 Calçada da Igreja de S. Lázaro. The exhibition is held in two separate rooms. Admission is free.
Visitors are required to wear a facemask and apply hand sanitiser when entering the venue.
