Artists showcase their lotus-themed creations

The 5th Macau International Lotus Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition entitled “Flourishing Lotus” taking place concurrently with the 20th Lotus Flower Festival and co-sponsored by the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) and Macau Foundation (FM) is being held in Lou Lim Ieoc Garden, according to an introductory text provided by the organiser, the Delight Macau Artists Association.

According to the text, the event showcases over 70 unique pieces of artwork from artists in Asia comprising traditional Chinese painting, sketches and Chinese calligraphy. Visitors can also take the opportunity to appreciate the flowers in the garden.

The exhibition is open daily at the Chun Chou Tong Pavilion in the garden until Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.

As part of the government’s COVID-19 epidemic prevention measures, all visitors entering the garden have to wear a facemask, have their temperature checked and present a digital health declaration.
