An event organised by the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf (MFW) entitled “In Full View – Macau 360 Panoramic Photography Exhibition” by local artist Lou Kam Ieng is being held at Galeria Lisboa at the MFW.
According to a brochure provided by MFW, Lou likes travelling and photography. Lou has represented Macau in photography exhibitions held in the mainland for a number of years. Some of his photographs have been turned into decorative art, such as his “Macao Night” wall tapestry hanging in the Macau Hall of the Great Hall of the People.
This exhibition displays Lou’s photographs taken over the past 20 years. Lou used the most traditional photography techniques to take 360-degrees composite picture of Macau’s main attractions, the brochure points out.
“The exhibition not only provides a visual record of the continuous development of Macau, it also retains the value of traditional photography techniques and records the historic appearance of our city,” the brochure says, adding that the exhibition provides the public with a unique experience to appreciate how far Macau has come.
The exhibition runs until August 29 at Galeria Lisboa at the MFW’s Lisbon 2 Building. It is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.
As part of the government’s COVID-19 epidemic prevention measures, all visitors entering the venue must wear a facemask, have their temperature checked, apply hand sanitiser and present a digital health declaration.
