A private car and a scooter were involved in an accident in Rua do Almirante Costa Cabral near Hap Tak Building at around 10 a.m. yesterday, according to a statement by the Fire Services Bureau (CB).
The statement said that a male scooter rider scraped his lower right leg severely, adding that firefighters suspected that he had also fractured his right leg. The statement added that he was taken to the public Conde de S. Januário Hospital Centre.
No mention was made as to the condition of the car driver.
