The 7th Macau Industrial Product Show will have 182 booths and over 160 companies will be joining the event, MacExpo Exhibition Co. Ltd., the main organiser, announced in a press conference at the Industrial Association of Macau’s headquarters in Rua do Dr. Pedro José Lobo yesterday.
According to a statement distributed during the press conference, the fair will be held from Thursday to Sunday (October 1-4) at the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf Convention and Exhibition Centre during part of the mainland’s “Golden Week”. It will have six main zones such as a beauty zone, electronics and home appliances zone, food zone, and baby products zone. The statement said all booths will be selling local companies’ products.
According to the statement, admission is free. The exhibition also offers three-hour free parking, one-pataca products, and “more surprising discounts”. The statement also said that the fair will have a livestream room for children aged between 6 and 12 who can try to be a live-stream anchor on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
The statement said that there will be “internet influencers” hosting livestreamed videos to sell products. The statement said the organisers hoped that the fair would promote local products through various media platforms.
