Women’s General Association of Macau and Melco Resorts & Entertainment are jointly hosting the second edition of ‘Best Mom Award’.
The event celebrates the virtues of women – paying tribute to maternal love and promoting positive family values – and serves as a platform to show gratitude and appreciation towards women and motherhood.
Women’s General Association of Macau Vice-Chairwoman Lau Kam Ling said that since the association’s founding 70 years ago, it has devoted itself to caring for women and children and promoting positive family and social values.
Lau said that the “Best Anti-Pandemic Mom Award” category has been added to the event this year to promote the selflessness of motherly love and to share stories of strength and positivity – to increase public awareness and support for the development of women and the promotion of family-friendly social values.
Nominations for the “Best Mom Award 2020”are open to female residents of Macau from now until December 6. The top-scoring 30 participants will be shortlisted for an interview in the final round, where a panel of judges comprising the event’s co-hosts and community members will nominate the 10 most outstanding entries to become “Best Mom Excellence Award” winners.
Prizes include Melco entertainment and food & beverage vouchers worth approximately 2,600 patacas; and each of the 10 “Best Mom Excellence Award” winners will be awarded the grand prize of a family trip for four and Studio City experience package worth about 25,000 patacas.
