The Macau Cultural Centre is looking for young members to join its Singing Club.
Applications are now open to children and youths aged 8 to 16, eager to discover the joys of vocal performance and to enhance their artistic culture.
Following a period of absence due to pandemic constraints, CCM’s Singing Club is back to introduce tweens and teens to the world of music and provide a relaxing learning environment.
Combining choral rehearsals and other performing art forms in weekly practices, the boys and girls are provided with numerous opportunities to sing in live concerts, attend community orientated and environmental events.
Amid festivals and local celebrations, the Singing Club has been frequently involved in festive occasions.
In the coming season, the club is taking part in a string of activities such as community visits and nature discovery to old town adventures.
Applications are open until December 9. Auditions are scheduled for December 12 and 13, and candidates will be individually notified.
Member fees are set at 1,200 patacas per semester. – ccmpr
