The police have arrested a local man for cheating at least three locals out of 15 million patacas in a con involving discounted coupons and mobile phones, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said yesterday.
According to the spokesperson, two of the three victims took the 28-year-old suspect surnamed Tang to a police station on Saturday to report the case. The third victim went to the station on Sunday.
According to the spokesperson, the victims are in their thirties. Two of them are businessmen and one works as a chauffeur.
