The third edition of the “International Tea Culture Carnival” took place at Mandarin House earlier this week to promote cultural exchanges and Macau.
The event also included a forum on Chinese art where professionals in their field shared insights on the cultural industry.
Tea Art Professionals’ Association of Macau President Chan Pui Lan said at the event’s opening ceremony that even amid COVID-19, people are still putting their effort in to promoting culture.
“We will continue to systematically nurture young people with the tea ceremony, the ‘dao and de’ of tea, as well as the art and culture of tea,” Chan said, adding that the association puts great importance in nurturing young people as it would help them have a better understanding of the nation’s culture and their duty to the nation.
