Hotel guests rise 12 pct to 1 million in July

Macau’s 104 hotels and guesthouses recorded 1.04 million guests last month, a year-on-year increase of 12.3 percent, the Statistics and Census bureau (DSEC) said yesterday. Guests from the mainland and Hong Kong accounted for 62.1 percent and 17.6 percent respectively. GDP decline slows to 7.1 pct in Q2
