Typhoon Higos damages 1,000 trees: IAM
Typhoon Higos, which resulted in the hoisting of Macau's highest storm warning signal No. 10 on August 19, damaged about 1,000 trees, public broadcaster Radio Macau reported today, citing Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) officials. According to the unnamed officials, 131 old trees were damaged by Higos, two of which were downed by the typhoon.
