Macau Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng yesterday delivered a speech by video link from Macau at the 2023 Overseas Chinse Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay (GBA) Conference in Jiangmen city, Guangdong province, according to a statement by the Macau Government Information Bureau (GCS). In his speech, the statement pointed out, Ho underlined the interdependence of Macau’s own development and the development of the GBA and the Guangdong-Macau In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. Macau is one of the 11 GBA member cities, alongside Hong Kong and nine cities in Guangdong. The three-day conference co-organised by the Guangdong Provincial Government and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council ends today.
