Macau Beer Co-Chairman Charles M Choy (蔡明威) told reporters on the sidelines of yesterday’s launch ceremony for Macau Beer’s new flavours that the opening of the Macau Beer Concept Shop aims to help promote the city’s historic centre to mainlanders.
According to Choy, Macau Beer has been cooperating with online giants in the mainland to proliferate its products. He added that his company hoped that by setting up the Macau Beer x Belive & more | Concept Shop in Rua do Almirante Sérgio, beer drinkers would be attracted to the area.
Choy said that Macau Beer also released two new flavours named “Macau Amber Ale” and “I Have Been to Travessa da Paixão” to represent the history and impression of Macau. He noted that his business has been growing despite the COVID-19 pandemic, adding that most of the cities and regions in the mainland can access Macau Beer online and major mainland cities and provinces can purchase it easily in person.
Choy also said that his brand was striving to help promote local tourism and contribute to the city’s economy. He also pledged that his company will continue to satisfy the city’s demand for high quality products.
