Peking University Professor Chen Yuyu said yesterday that local youths have an advantage when it comes to the opportunities provided by the central government’s ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative, adding that they should visit the mainland more often and befriend more mainlanders.

Chen, a professor at the world-famous university’s Guanghua School of Management, made the remarks on the sidelines of a seminar at the Macau Science Centre about the central governments ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative and its opportunities.

Chen was the keynote speaker at the seminar co-organised by the youth committee of the mainland’s Foshan Overseas Society, Macau Association of Foshan, Hong Kong and Macau Youths Exchange and the youth committee of Macau Foshan Compatriots Association. Several dozen people attended the one-day seminar.
