Judiciary Police (PJ) officers on Sunday arrested a mainland man on suspicion of cheating a woman out of HK$200,000 with gaming chips which can’t be used in Macau, PJ spokesman Eric Choi Ian Fai said yesterday.

Choi revealed details of the case during a regular press briefing at the PSP headquarters in Zape.

According to Choi, the 62-years-old jobless suspect, surnamed Bo, is unemployed. The victim, who is also from the mainland, arrived in the city on Saturday. Choi did not say when the suspect came to Macau.
