The Macau Association of Composers, Authors & Publishers’ (MACA) “MACA Pop Music Master Class Achievement Exhibition 2021” was held on June 25 at Macau Contemporary Art Centre – Navy Yard No. 2, presenting 12 original music pieces composed by locals, a MACA statement said recently.
According to the statement, the main purpose of this event was to promote the creation of local pop music compositions, train in-depth more professional music composers, produce more high-quality musical works and music talents, provide a new platform of learning and exchanging experiences for local music composers and students who are interested in music and promote and encourage original works and the development of Macau’s music culture.
The statement said that MACA would carry out the second session of “MACA Pop Music Master Class”. The event is going to be promoted and recruited for this month to August, and will continue to cultivate more new music creators. The statement pointed out that for those who are interested in music creation and production can pay attention to the MACA Facebook Fans page and MACA official website.
