Inspired by mini suitcases, the new mooncake gift boxes combine tradition with innovation. Simplistic in design, functional and lightweight, the mooncake gift boxes feature the iconic Wynn flower and the Wynn Palace three-dimensional relief design of graceful birds in flight toward the autumn moon. The gift boxes come in two eye-catching colours – celebratory red and chic silver. The innovative design cleverly weaves modern sustainability into a traditional mooncake box, by creating a fashionable handbag that features an adjustable leather shoulder strap to wear as a sling bag, or can be simply carried as a stylish clutch. Both elegant and practical, it is the perfect Mid-Autumn gift that can last a lifetime.
This year, Wynn is partnering with October Fifth Bakery Macau to handcraft mooncakes that are lovingly made with the local flavours of Macau. The Wynn Tea Classic Mooncakes are infused with fragrant and floral Osmanthus Oolong tea, while the Wynn Signature Mooncakes are made in three different flavours: Tea Classic, Lava Pineapple and Coffee. Enriched with high quality ingredients and masterfully prepared, the mooncakes are bursting with flavour – all in keeping with a harmonious family reunion.
Guests are welcome to visit Wing Lei at Wynn Macau or Sweets at Wynn Palace to purchase mooncakes or gift vouchers for relatives and friends in celebration of Mid-Autumn. The mooncake voucher purchase date is from now until September 20 for Wing Lei at Wynn Macau and from now until September 17 for Sweets at Wynn Palace, while the redemption date for the mooncake vouchers starts on Sunday for both locations.
The price of the six mooncakes varies from 469 patacas to 498 patacas. – wpr
