The Fire Services Bureau (CB) said in a statement yesterday that a 58-year-old welder was found unconscious at the carpark on Alameda da Harmonia in Coloane after falling from a height.
The statement said that when the firefighters arrived at the scene, the worker was unconscious and needed to be given emergency treatment. The statement said that the man was found by a resident, adding that some people saw him welding in the carpark and that he fell from a platform two-metres off the ground. The statement underlined that the incident has been reported to the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL).
No follow-up information on the worker’s condition was available late last night.
