Since the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Macau has been stabilised, ferries from the Outer Harbour Terminal or Taipa Ferry Terminal to Shekou in Shenzhen will resume tomorrow, the Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA) said in a statement yesterday.
According to the statement, there will be two to four ferries departing from Macau to Shekou every day and schedules will be planned according to demand in the future. The statement said that for more information, one should consult the respective ferry companies.
The bureau reminded passengers to pay attention to Shenzhen’s novel coronavirus prevention and control measures before their departure, have a negative nucleic acid test (NAT) and convert their Macau Health Code to the Guangdong Health Code. The statement said that the bureau has already asked cleaning companies to disinfect and deep clean the terminal and ferries, pointing out that passengers must wear facemasks at all times when they are aboard the ferry.
