SJM Resorts said in a statement yesterday that volunteer support was provided during this week’s third citywide COVID-19 testing drive through its “Emergency Volunteer Support Team”.

The statement noted that SJM’s Staff Welfare Consultative Committee arranged for more than 40  volunteer staff members to support the Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) at the nucleic acid testing (NAT) site at the table tennis area of the Olympic Sports Centre (Macau Stadium) in Taipa earlier this week.

The statement pointed out that in order to ensure that the tests were conducted in an orderly and systematic manner at the site, the volunteers assisted in guiding children, senior citizens, pregnant women and the disabled through the designated caring lanes.
