More activities are resuming as the city’s COVID-19 pandemic situation stabilises.
IAM reopens community facilities
The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) announced in a statement yesterday that its community facilities will reopen today.
The statement noted that the activity centres in S. Domingos, S. Lourenço, Iao Hon, Rotunda de Carlos da Maia, Fai Chi Kei, Seac Pai Van, Patane, Ilha Verde and Ká Hó will reopen today.
The statement also highlighted today’s reopening of the IAM Building, Commemorative Gallery of the Macau Basic Law, Chon Chou Tong and Iong Sam Tong Pavilion, Macau Tea Culture House, Civic Education Resources Centre, Civic Education Kiosk at Praça de Ponte e Horta, Food Information Corner, Mong Há Eco-Centre, and exhibition and educational venues in Guia Hill and Seac Pai Van Park.
The statement added that Flora Park’s Cute Animal Zone, and Seac Pai Van Park’s Pavilions will also reopen. Meanwhile, activities such as interest classes and food safety training courses will also resume, the statement noted.
The statement pointed out that venues customarily closed on Mondays will reopen tomorrow.
In accordance with the government’s pandemic prevention measures, the public must undergo temperature checks and present a valid Macau Health Code upon entry, while crowd control measures will be implemented, the statement noted.
IC opens exhibitor registration for Macau Creative Pavilion
The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) announced in a statement yesterday that the exhibitor registration for the Macau Creative Pavilion at the 14th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair (CCCIF) is open from today until November 7.
According to the statement, the large-scale cultural exhibition, with participants from cultural organisations of both sides of the Strait, will be held from December 3-6 at the Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Centre (XICEC). The statement added that the Macau Creative Pavilion will promote the city’s cultural and creative products and services, the relationship between the creative industries of Macau, and both sides of the Strait, while also hoping to create business opportunities.
The statement underlined that 10 local organisations will be selected by the organiser to participate in the exhibition based on the number of cultural and creative entities, exhibition brands and products, originality, product creativity and uniqueness, and enthusiasm in participating in the exhibition.
Applicants must be local organisations related to the cultural and creative industries sector, the statement noted.
