Macau Nanny Association President Keith Man Lai Kit said yesterday the main goal of the group was to improve the professionalism and quality of service provided by the city’s child care providers.

Man, who works as a nannies’ tutor as well as a dietician, made the remarks during a speech at a ceremony to announce the associations’ newly elected board members at a community centre run by the Macau Federation of Trade Unions (commonly known as Gung Luen) in Areia Preta.

Man said in a speech that his association was established in 2014 with the aim of teaching pregnant woman basic prenatal knowledge and provide training courses for locals who want to work as professional child care providers.
