Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ) Director Leong Lai said yesterday she had asked a local school to submit a report about its pupil found to have plagiarised the artwork of a Hong Kong cartoonist which had won the pupil an award in a national comics competition.
Leong also said she hoped the school will submit the report as soon as possible.
Leong made the remarks on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the International Youth Dance Festival. Leong was an officiating guest at the event.
