MGM Co-chairperson and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Pansy Ho Chiu-king said yesterday that she is using art in her casino resorts to bring the world to China and vice versa.
Ho made the remarks in a speech at the opening of the “Explore Spectacular” art symposium at MGM Cotai, which attracted about 200 attendees from local and regional artists and art enthusiasts.
Ho said that while art has different meanings for different people, everyone would agree that art transcends all boundaries and that it connects and unites peoples, nations and cultures, and creates understanding and empathy.
