Macau’s South Korean visitor arrivals rose 49.5 percent to 47,957 in June, the highest increase of any visitor segment, according to figures released by the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) last week.
The total number of visitor arrivals rose 4.9 percent year-on-year to 2.36 million last month. However, month-to-month, the figure was down 4.8 percent.
Overnight visitors rose by 13.9 percent to 1.22 million, accounting for 52 percent of the total. Same-day visitors dropped by 3.3 percent to 1.13 million.
