A local woman fell from her flat onto a metal canopy over a residential building’s car park on Friday at 2 a.m., according to a Fire Services Bureau (CB) statement later that day.
The statement noted that the incident occurred in Hantec Building (亨達大廈) in Avenida do Dr Francisco Vieira Machado (馬揸度博士大馬路) in Areia Preta district. The statement said that the woman, who’s in her thirties, suddenly lost her balance and fell from her flat when she was hanging out her laundry. The statement added that she landed on a metal canopy over the building’s car park, causing the canopy to be dented. Firefighters and PSP police officers arrived at the scene soon after to help the woman down.
The statement said that the woman was conscious and not facing any life-threatening injuries when she was rushed to the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre (仁伯爵綜合醫院) for medical treatment.
The statement did not say how many floors the canopy is below the flat the woman fell from.
