Over 58,000 visit National Security Education Exhibition: govt

The National Security Education Exhibition ended last night and over 58,000 people visited it, the Government Information Bureau (GCS) said in a statement yesterday.

According to the statement, the exhibition, which took place at the Services Platform Complex for Commercial and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (PSCs) in Nam Van, has been receiving positive feedback. The statement noted that its website also had over 380,000 people visiting.

The statement quoted Zheng Xincong, deputy director of the of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau Special Administration Region (MSAR), as saying that it took three months to complete the preparation work for the exhibition, while the exhibition was held for just a month, adding that he thanked all those who put the exhibition together to help promote the idea of national security.

The statement also quoted Secretary for Security Wong Sio Chak as saying that the exhibition has become better and better year by year, adding that he was grateful to the exhibition staff members who overcame all kinds of challenges during the past month.

The statement noted that there were over 420 photos and videos shown at the exhibition, displaying the nation’s development and security in recent years.
