New COVID-19 prevention measures for workshops, recreational classes & training activities: IC

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday that new COVID-19 prevention measures will be implemented for its workshops, recreational classes and training activities starting on July 1.

According to the statement, participants and those accompanying them must present “a proof of completion of the whole course of the COVID-19 primary vaccination series for 14 days”, which is indicated with a gold frame on the Macau Health Code, in the activity’s first session or lesson.

Alternatively, one can present a self-paid negative nucleic acid test (NAT) result “issued within 7 days in each lesson or session”, the statement noted.

The statement added that with regard to the activities’ special circumstances, it will adjust measures according to the pandemic situation’s development and the activities’ target.

In line with the government’s COVID-19 prevention measures, the statement reminded the public that all participants and accompanying persons must wear a facemask, undergo a temperature check, present a valid venue QR code and Macau Health Code, as well as provide either a proof of vaccination or negative NAT. Meanwhile. Those with a fever or respiratory symptoms cannot enter the venue.
