The Public Security Police (PSP) yesterday announced the arrests of seven men – a local and six mainlanders – on Tuesday for taking drugs in a private flat.
A PSP spokesperson said at a regular press conference the police took action after they had been tipped off that a number of people were taking drugs in a flat in Iao Hon district. PSP officers went to the flat on Tuesday night and arrested the seven suspects.
The local suspect surnamed Chio, who is in his fifties, is a construction worker. The mainland suspects are aged between 36 and 53. Five of them told police that they were unemployed, while one is a blue-card holder working as a construction worker in Macau, according to the spokesperson.
