SJM Resorts said in a statement this week that it held a Father’s Day workshop last Sunday called “Handmade Leather Card Holder Workshop” at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (GLP) in Cotai.
The statement noted that the workshop was attended by guests from the Macau Federation of Trade Unions (FAOM) (commonly known as Gung Luen) to celebrate the day with their families. According to the statement, guests arrived at the GLP Art Workshops space on Level 1 of The Bazar at 11:00, where instructors showed each family group how to create a leather card holder to “honour and express gratitude towards their fathers”.
The statement pointed out that the resort operator “pledges to continue working closely with local associations and step up initiatives” that convey care and promote a cohesive society.
