Macau police nab mainland trio for casino loansharking
The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested three mainland men on Tuesday for engaging in casino loansharking activities, PJ spokesman Chong Kam Leong said during a regular press conference yesterday.Chong identified the first suspect as a 34-year-old male surnamed Xu, the second suspect as a 35-year-old male also surnamed Xu, and the third suspect as a 36-year-old male surnamed Shi. 3 urban planning councillors keen to keep Estoril façade
Three members of the government-appointed Urban Planning Council yesterday urged the government to keep the façade of the dilapidated Hotel Estoril which appears to be destined for demolition. The trio made the appeal separately during a regular meeting of the council.
