More sports facilities will resume operations starting today, the Sports Bureau (ID) said in a statement yesterday.

Most of the sports facilities under the bureau reopened earlier this month.

The statement noted that the reopened facilities include Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion’s Pavilion A and Table Tennis Zone (Lobby Area), Athletics Track, indoor Pavilion, Olympic Sports Centre – Stadium’s table tennis area, the Macau East Asian Games Dome’s Zone B and Cheoc Van Swimming Pool. Moreover, the online booking service and online ticketing service of on-the-spot swimming tickets will also resume accordingly.

COVID-19 pandemic prevention measures, the statement underlined, will remain in force such as requiring venue users to wear a facemask properly, undergo a temperature check, present a green and valid Macao Health Code and scan the venue QR code.

The bureau emphasised that cleaning and disinfection will continuously be enforced at all venues, urging members of the public to maintain personal and environmental hygiene, as well as to maintain social distancing when using the sports facilities. Moreover, they are also urged to avoid overcrowding upon entering the facilities.
